…for me, anyway.
I photographed a family for Christmas 2009 and received a call from the dad this last Christmas about his firm needing headshots for his new/soon to be updated website. And he also needed shots of his office. So, I dropped by to look at the place and talk with him more about his vision. As soon as I walked in, I knew this was going to be one FUN shoot. Everyone was so easy to work with and photograph and the office was just COOL. Definitely the coolest attorney’s office I’VE ever seen. They’ve got great taste… for sure. Oh, did I mention when I walked in everyone was super casual, like jeans and baseball caps? Not your typical, formal attorney’s office. And Ed was the best to work with. He really trusted my skill once hearing his vision and gave me free reign to work.
So, here’s the office:
I think this one’s my favorite.
I wasn’t sure he would be interested in it, but I decided to go ahead and shoot detail shots. And he did. I was so excited (because I really liked them!).
It was a cloudy day when I shot, which I really liked for the window shots. (nice, moody clouds)
They’re by the Modern museum. aMAZing location.
(loving the reflection in the desk. I planned that *cough*)
And here’s a few of the attorney’s headshots. When asked what style he was looking for (whether he wanted them all the same or for me to do something sort of different, he chose the latter, which I thoroughly enjoyed). We shot in the conference room- great big windows!
Okay, so. this pose was for me. I had most of the guys do it, thinking there’s no way they’d like it (a little too different) but I think four of the guys chose it as their favorite for the website. I was pleasantly surprised. I like these people;)
I’ve been told the new website should be live in about a month. Can’t wait!
the end. Anyone need updated pictures for their website? 😉
