I would like to start spotlighting other local boutique businesses that I love and trust. So, this month, I would like to tell you about a business that has recently blessed our family: Aria Salt.
My 3 year old suffers from seasonal allergies like so many here in Texas. He also, because of multiple health issues, has a weak immune system that makes him easily susceptible to getting sick.
This last November, we signed up at Aria Salt for a month unlimited membership. Initially, we went almost daily in hopes of it helping his eczema. Although it didn’t seem to improve his skin, it strengthened his immune & respiratory system in amazing ways!
That entire month, while the rest of us got cold after cold, his nose didn’t drip even once, which is nothing short of a miracle! He never coughed once (he has respiratory issues, which salt therapy is helpful for)!
He remained strong and full of energy until recently, when I decided to sign him up for an annual membership. Salt Therapy has also helped numerous people experience spring time with minimal or no allergic side effects. During the recent Cedar Elm pollen “outbreak”, Dawson didn’t skip a beat.
They have private and group rooms for adults and they have the most fun children’s room for their small clients. Dawson loves to go to “The Salt Place”!
A few fun images below of the kids’ room (snapped from my iPhone because I kept forgetting to bring my good camera!).
The child’s room has the feel of a beach, with therapeutic salt covering the floor to play in. The walls and ceiling are nearly covered with salt. As they play in the salt, they also breathe it in as it finely mists into the air, filling the room.
