{little guy “j”} – fort worth child photographer

Introducing “j”. What a cute little guy he is! Again, another on of my little JWC Easter Tea kiddos. What I find so amazing about the post below is I think I photographed “j” for maybe 3 minutes- 5 tops. And I got such a variety of expressions and poses. He was all over the place on that chair, but I’ve decided that’s a GOOD thing!

one of the only straight on, sitting down shot I think I got.

I love the one on the right. He seems “bigger than life”.

I think the left one is my favorite from them all. I just love his expression and how he’s posed himself. How adorable is that?! I couldn’t have posed him any better myself.

I do love the one on the left, though…

Have I ever said how much I love portraits of the child looking off from the camera?

Until next time…

{baby k} – fort worth newborn photographer

I feel so behind on my blogging! So many exciting things have been going on. I hope to catch up soon!

But to start… say hello to baby “k”. He’s new to this world and how thankful we are he’s here with us. He’s the cutest little thing with the darkest and thickest hair!

gotta love that squishy face.

my blue chair strikes again. (Husband) Adam says it’s green, but I say blue. It does look awfully green here, though, I must admit.

A “one eye” hello.

I couldn’t decide if I liked the color or b&w better to post. So I decided to show both!

{jwc easter tea} – fort worth child photographer

Sometime last year, I read about the Madri Bambini group in the “fort worth child” magazine, which is  a department of the Junior Woman’s Club. It’s a group for moms with young children who do fun activities/outings each month WITH their little one. It sounded like something I’d enjoy so I joined! Anyway, through that connection I had the opportunity to photograph the club’s Easter portraits yesterday.

We had about 25 different children (or families) come out for portraits & I only was shooting for one shot for their purchased portrait… but for some of the kids, there were just too many to only choose one. Below is one of the little guys, the son of my new recent friend Meredith. Here’s the advanced preview you requested, Meredith!

{TEA party rally}

I’m sure you’ve been hearing about “tea” parties going on across the nation and perhaps you’ve wondered what they’re all about. Below explains the platform the parties are standing on & some information about them if  you would like to get involved:

______________________________________________________________________________________________

On the day you pay your taxes, Wednesday, April 15, join others across the country and in your hometown who will be participating in TAX Day TEA party rallies in front of their city halls.  The  TAX Day TEA party rally will begin at 12 noon. See this video – the momentum is growing!

Are you fed up with a Congress and a president who:

  • vote for a $500 billion tax bill without even reading it?
  • are spending trillions of borrowed dollars, leaving a debt our great-grandchildren will be paying?
  • consistently give special interest groups billions of dollars in earmarks to help get themselves re-elected?
  • want to take your wealth and redistribute it to others?
  • punish those who practice responsible financial behavior and reward those who do not?
  • admit to using the financial hurt of millions as an opportunity to push their political agenda?
  • run up trillions of dollars of debt and then sell that debt to countries such as China?
  • want government controlled health care?
  • want to take away the right to vote with a secret ballot in union elections?
  • refuse to stop the flow of millions of illegal immigrants into our country?
  • appoint a defender of child pornography to the Number 2 position in the Justice Department?
  • want to force doctors and other medical workers to perform abortions against their will?
  • want to impose a carbon tax on your electricity, gas and home heating fuels?
  • want to reduce your tax deductibility for charitable gifts?
  • take money from your family budget to pay for their federal budget?

If so, participate in the TAX Day TEA party rally, the Taxed Enough Already (TEA) party.

Bring your cell phone and call Congress and the president while attending the  TAX Day TEA party rally (Representative and Senators, 202-224-3121; President, 202-456-1414). Tell Every American about this effort by forwarding this invitation to your friends.  Together we can make a difference.
