{beautiful day} – fort worth child photographer

Can you believe the weather these days? It blows my mind. Adam took Hudson outside to play a couple days ago and I saw what fun they were having from inside and I just had to go get my camera. Here’s few fun lifestyle shots of them having some fun.

You can see by Adam’s outfit (blue sweats and a green tshirt) that it was indeed impromptu:)

Love sun flairs! Adam was tickling his nose with a piece of grass.

Just in the last few weeks he’s become such a steady sitter. It’s been so awesome.

And his most recent trick is clapping. I’ll do patty cake with him and he’ll actually clap with me.

This one’s adam’s favorite.

And do you see his teeth!? He’s growing up so fast.

And, of course, air born.

{finally!} – fort worth child photographer

I finally finished his 6th month portraits. It’s about time, right?

he’s started eating everything in sight. leaves included.

definitely my favorite from the shoot.

my little man of many faces.

this is his newest thing he does. sucking on his lip. i was glad i captured that moment since he does it so quick.

in the first picture, he’s pondering the meaning of life. and in the second one, he’s surprised by something.

{braums update}

Okay, one last word about Braums and I’ll try to stop about it. I went shopping there today for my produce, ground beef and dairy products and it was SO exciting! The milk went down to $2.99 and the 2 cups of cheese for $1.50- those were my most exciting purchases! I must admit I was WAY excited- not only did the prices beat Walmart (where I normally shop) but the quality is WAY better. Yay for Braums! Okay, I’ll stop now:)

{hudson’s six month} – fort worth child photographer

Can you believe Hudson is already 6 months old? I’m just blown away by how fast it’s flown. I am so blessed to have such the wonderful little guy as a son. He just makes life a joy. I look forward to being around him b/c he’s just so easy and sweet. Anyway, here he’s sporting an adorable little jacket I got from baby gap on sale a couple months ago. I was so excited when I saw he’d pretty much grown into it. I still have several to go through and image, but here’s a few to start you off with:)

A few matters of business real quick. The pettiskirt contest’s deadline is the end of February. To read more of the rules and stuff, check out the December 7th post under the “contest” category. Also, I know it’s only January, but the spring (and warm weather!) will be here before we know it. I’m taking 4 sessions per month and am booking already, so if you’re interested in having your first pick of dates, give me a call soon!

Okie, without further adue (sp?)… Hudson.

His many faces crack me up! I call these the coleman eyebrows.

Moms will relate to this. I love both of these. I know the expressions are very similar, but totally different to me and I love each one!

I think he’s not sure about something. Maybe he’s thinking about how silly he looks with his jacket zipped up to his chin:)

{braums update} – fort worth photographer

I’m sure this won’t surprise anyone, but I went to Braum’s today to price match their grocery items to see how they compare with walmart (I haven’t been back to WM yet so I’m going off memory with their prices). They faired amazingly well- they were about the same on several items and even beat walmart on several items, which I was excited about. In case any of you happen to live by a braums & are interested, I thought I’d post my findings:

Feta Cheese- $3.29 (comparable to walmart)

Butter (4 sticks/box)- $2.19

Cheese (8 oz grated or block)- $1.59 (WAY less then walmart)

Yogurt (6 oz)- $.57

Eggs (dozen large)- $1.73 (same as WM)

Cottage Cheese (16oz)- $1.69

OJ (gallon)- $3.99 (I think this might be a good deal. I pay $2.08 for a 64oz carton of generic wm OJ)

Milk (gallon)- $3.29 (the braums lady on the phone who told me $2.50 was mistaken, but it’s still cheaper then wm’s $5 gallon of hormone free milk)

1/2 gallon ice cream- $4.29

Red potatoes (5 lb bag)- $2.89

Salad mix (10 oz)- $2.19/ spinach 6oz $1.29

Cole Slaw (16oz)- $1.29

Apples- Gala $1.29/lb, Fuji $1.29/lb, Granny $.99/lb

Ground Chuck Beef (2 lb roll)- $5.19 for 80/20 & $4.19 for 73/27 (I think this is comparable if not better then wm)

Chicken (boneless skinless hormone free)- $6.19 for 1.65 lbs (Not a great deal)

Bananas- $.59/lb (comparable to wm)

So the moral of the story is, if you just need the basics (milk, oj, bread, cheese, eggs, butter, basic fruit) and don’t want to mess with Walmart, Braums is the best, least expensive option… as their dairy products are all made with their hormone/antibiotic free milk they make. Happy shopping!
