{anna & mike}

Meet Anna and Mike. Two of the sweetest people ever and one of the most special couples I know. They both love the Lord and it’s been exciting to see how He’s given them to each other in His time. This wedding was one of the most special and exciting celebrations I’ve ever been to. There was so much joy and happiness. I was so excited to be able to capture a glimmer of that in their photographs. Below is a very random sampling of the day, but I think these are my favorites.

I told you they were sweet.

I know this is a rather random one to show, but I love the laughter caught in this photograph. It makes me happy. I love that I caught both of them in the middle of such full laughter. And I must admit I love how they’re framed by the two groomsmen in the foreground.

There were a few funny moments during the ceremony and I’m so glad I caught the groom’s mom laughing during one of them.

I just love it. It’s beautiful.

They were just so happy. No matter what they were doing, they were wearing such sweet smiles on their faces.

Another sweet moment. They met here in Fort Worth, but Mike moved out of state a couple years ago. Now that they’re marrying, Anna will be moving *tear* so the Fort Worth skyline was special to them.

last wedding

These are terribly out of order. My apologies! I shot this beautiful and special wedding this Saturday- a couple friends of mine. There were some very beautiful things and people to photograph. Oh, and the title of the post. I’ve decided with Hudson and my new stage of life, I’m not planning on taking anymore weddings indefinitely (though I do reserve the right to change my mind if something changes:). It was a sweet wedding to end on. Congrats Sarah and Chris!

Isn’t this cake so pretty? You just hate to dig in!

This little girl is the bride’s daughter. She’s definitely her mother’s daughter- they look so much alike. Thought this was such a cute shot of the girls just hanging out and observing the goings on.

This is her other daughter (actually her hubby’s daughter). Aren’t they so cute making cute faces in the mirror? They LOVED their pretty gloves.

This is, I think, my favorite moment of any wedding… the moment when the groom sees the bride walking down the aisle towards him. Priceless. A must capture as far as I go.

This is my good friend (a brides maid) and her little boy (who looks JUST like his daddy if you ask me). Such a sweet moment- I just had to include it. Yay sarah!

Really cool staircase leading to the balcony. Isn’t this cool? I’m trying to figure out what to do with something like this… a postcard maybe?

The bride’s parents house/reception. Doesn’t it look like a castle? It has seven- count them SEVEN- bathrooms!

The ceremony was at the “little chapel in the woods” on the twu campus in denton. Doesn’t it really look like it’s name?

I LOVE love love this shot. I’ve really been wanting a super cool shoe pic and here it is. The stained glass windows add such cool texture to it.
